Strong global interest in EcoGrip

January 6, 2014 – Mentor, Ohio – Own the Zone Sporting Goods announced today that interest is high and sales are brisk for EcoGrip® the world’s first biodegradable overgrip for tennis and other racket sports.

Currently this can be done via innovative recycling programs for used tennis balls via Project Green Ball or it can be done by using great playing overgrip like EcoGrip, which, once discarded, decomposes naturally in the environment within one year.”

Only on the market since October 1st, EcoGrip is quickly gaining a following among junior and college players.

In October Karl Collins, 11, from Richmond, California took the runner’s up trophy at the national Little Mo Tournament playing with OTZ EcoGrip on his racquet. Karl’s father Martyn said, “Karl loves EcoGrip.
